Dr. David Hassman is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. After earning his medical degree from the Philadelphia Osteopathic School of Medicine in 1991, he completed his internship at Kennedy Hospital and his residency in family practice in 1995 at Suburban General Hospital in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
“Dr. Dave” has served as a family medicine physician at Advocare Berlin Medical Associates since 1999, with extensive training in clinical research in the areas of general internal medicine. He currently serves as the practice's Chief Medical Director for Hassman Research Institute. In addition to his time at the practice, Dr. Dave has served as the school physician for Eastern Regional High School since 2001.
According to Dr. Dave, “Patient-doctor interaction and communication are foremost in giving compassionate medical care. It is imperative to view each patient individually in order to provide the highest successful diagnoses and treatment care plan.” Dr. Hassman promotes preventive medicine and wellness programs and makes ongoing professional education a priority. He currently lives in Philadelphia with his wife and their family. In his free time, he stays active as he enjoys playing basketball, hiking, running, and tennis.
